OUR STORY

An idea to empower the next generation. 

Our mission: Bring people and communities together through media. ðŸŒŽ  Our name derives from the latin words "Cor", meaning "the heart", "feelings", and "the soul" and "Terra", meaning the "Earth" and the "land".

Together, Corterra represents the connection between the people, the place, and the community that shapes our city of Calgary. We provide free media services to non-profits, community organizations, local businesses, and community events in an effort to give everyone a digital platform in an ever digitizing world and tell their stories to a wider audience.

  • Our work is crafted from hours of work directly from our heart. We pride ourselves in exceeding expectations and showing the humanity and soul in each of our projects.

  • Our work aims to reflect the people of the land which we gather on. The people who work each day to create opportunities and make our city a better city to live in on - we're here to support them.

Our work spans more than just visuals; it's about making media accessible and making sure no story goes untold.​ Proudly supporting non-profits, community organizations, and local causes across Calgary.​​​

In the spirit of reconciliation, we acknowledge that we live, love, work and play on the traditional territories of the Blackfoot Confederacy (Siksika, Kainai, Piikani), the Tsuut’ina, the Stoney Nakoda Nations (Chiniki, Bearspaw, Goodstoney), the Otipemisiwak Métis Government (Districts 5 and 6), and all people who make their homes in the Treaty 7 region of Southern Alberta.
